Hi all have a 2013 Speed with the Arrow high level cans, have removed the baffles lovely noise but the fuelling has gone to cock.

Does anyone know a good tuner in East Sussex where I can get it remapped or is a Power Commander a better bet?

    Cheers

    Paul

If you get a Power Commander I think you'll still need a tuner, to get the best, appropriate settings for the PCto give the optimised engine power delivery.

Hi BBP, if you'd said something like "which is better, re-map or PC?" then you might have received replies more in line with your expectations.

I have a Bonny so I don't know the Speedy world, but if I may offer you some thoughts? There is a well-known company in the Triumph twin world called Triumph Twin Power - these guys have been around for quite a while now starting out with performance parts for carbed twins before moving onto a range of stuff the EFi bikes -INCLUDING MAPPING. I have a number of their products and am very satisfied with the results.

I only offer this as an example of the sort of specialised company you maybe need to be looking for, but in the Triple/Speedy world.

Have you asked your local Triumph dealer for a remap to suit the cans? Mine did my Speed when I changed the can on my first Speed, it was about £25 I think.

I think that only works if they are triumph approved cans. I had my bike serviced at a triumph dealer and they re-mapped it ,without asking me, for their approved exhausts which were nothing like mine. Myvengine management lug was on and it wasn't running as smooth as before. I had to re-nap myself. So make sure the cans are triumph after sales ones!
