Can anyone recommend a shock-absorber re-builder, I keep coming up with these guys.

    https://www.brooksuspension.co.uk/m...category_shock_absorber&utm_content=text_link

They seem to be first in there field.
All input welcome positive or negative on any builder.

I am really happy with my shock/handling, and I also like the amount of adjustment and ease of use, My shock is corroded and past its ' best before' date.
The money, I would have to pay for a comparative replacement would be prohibitive, and I like to keep things as standard as possible when there is no need for improvement.

The shock still performs well ( in my opinion) The bike is now on 15,000 miles and I would like it rebuilt.
I have heard that 10 or 11 thousand miles, is about all you can expect from a shock, also the area I pointed at with the blue line is corroded and needs freshened up. I emailed Brookes today and Im waiting for Marc to get back to me.

I have a Hagon rear shock on my Trident.
Had a (basic) Nitron on my Daytona CE.
Both are much better than the originals and are also rebuildable.
Would recommend either, depending how deep your pocket is. Other makes are available, obviously, but I can only comment on what I have used.

    Thank you.

Looked at, YSS, Hagon, and Nitron, ( I had a Hagon on my 955i I loved it) The only guys I can find that advertise for the GT is Wilbers.
The GT was never a big seller

After phoning around and talking to 3 or 4 shock builders /suppliers. I found that ,
    My shock is not rebuildable
Hagon and Wilbers seem to be the only ones who make for these.
According to Hagon if the bikes in constant or near constant use there no reason the shock wont last 35,000 to 40,000 miles,( so I dont need a new one)

    So mine got a make-over
