I'm a numpty when it comes to anything mechanical or electrical, so for several years now I've been taking my bikes to REBZ, a local, independent workshop in Tweedbank, near Galashiels in the Scottish Borders. Excellent service, very knowledgeable about just any make of bike you can name from the UK, Europe, Japan or the USA, and at prices that are more reasonable than the big franchise dealers with their posh showrooms. Again, with so many big dealerships folding, it's good to see a friendly, local workshop continuing to thrive. Support your local, independent dealer or workshop whenever you can and help them to stay in business. I originally included this recommendation in another post but I thought it deserved to be shown in a separate thread under REBZ themselves. The main man there is Ian Ridley, a mine of information about bikes and biking, and their website is https://www.rebz.co.uk/index.html
