Re Registering A Classic Bike

I used to inspect ex military vehicles for the dvla to register on age related plates. The system was to check chassis number against records held and then authorise registration. With bikes - they used to have to be trailered to your nearest dvla office where after inspection and verification they could attain age related plates. Hope this helps

 

I think you have to fill in a form for the MOT exemption(can't remember which one but vaguely remember doing it) like all little tit bits the Goverment hands out you have to work for them
