Radiator protection

    was thinking of adding a radiator cover, but don't want to add things just for the sake of it.
    Would you say the rad is more prone to damage, being a naked bike.

    Within weeks Of bike being new I had a large dink in the rad. Opted for the Evotech set including the oil cooler. Very easy to fit, looks good and is good quality.

    An ex work mate of mine bought a new Yamaha R1 with the crossplane crank when they first came out. A stone holed the radiator before it was a month old.:oops::(:mad:

    Just saying!:rolleyes:

    The radiator is the first line of defence. All bikes should come with factory fitted radiator protectors if you ask me

    +1 for the Evotech. Protection, plus it makes the rad look better in a subtle way.

    Ordered mine yesterday on the strength of the above posts, cheere fellas.
    Actually got time today to take mine out for the first time, first 100 miles under its belt. fooooking animal.
