Gary Rossington, guitarist and the only original member left of the original Lynyrd Skynyrd band has passed away aged 71. Another great joins the supergroup up there in heaven. R.I.P. Gary
Agree, it’s a sad loss at only 71. I’m a big Lynyrd Skynyrd fan and 2019s gig at Manchester is one of the best gigs I’ve seen. Sad to have read it this morning and prompted me to play the ‘Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd’ album on the way to and from work. Absolutely fantastic album from a hugely talented group of musicians.
