After approaching the dealer who sold me the bike, and pointing out that page 70 of the manual states a quickshifter is fitted as standard to the R, the response from Triumph has been received.

The sales literature never stated a quickshifter was fitted and new manuals will be available to owners.

My dealer has requested a new manual under a warranty claim and Triumph have refused it ?????

My dealer to be honest have fought my corner and are still trying their best.

Personally i never thought Triumph would roll over and fit a quickshifter, but worth a try.

I looked into getting one for my 94r, After Talking with dealers, i was told Triumph do not make one for our bike.
And could verify this by searching the web,
    Maybe one day

    Never had one, ever.

Hardly ever use clutch on upshifts anyway, just goin down the box.

Struggle to see the real advantage on our type of bike. Daytona 675 track bike, yeah... But an A and B road blaster?

Anyway, each to their own, and if it's a freebie, we'll go on then. :D

They're awesome and worth it for the fun factor alone, lovely pops and bangs.

Yeah ... I did wonder why my manual states it is standard, but was on the options list ...
