Hi guys, just wondering if you could help me out with where to get some downpipes for my 2011 triple? As mine have cracked right across the balance pipe.

Had them welded once but its gone again so im afraid theyre toast! Had a look on ebay but wondered if there was any other alternative (other than buying new) thanks!

speak to a few dealers and ask if they have any taken off when someone had an upgrade to a full Arrow system :/
Not sure which other years would be compatible.
Or if they could put you in touch with anyone who has bought a full system

People would tend to think there is no resale value in the original pipes as noone would want them, unfortunately in your case you do and they may be grateful for a few quid for you to take them off their hands

Thats a good idea, speaking to dealers. Had a look on ebay and they’re in the region of 100-200 quid. Which ok, is cheaper than buying direct from Triumph but just seems a bit pricey to me.

As far as compatibility is concerned I think it’s 2011-2015 that fits. Due to the cat as far as I know. Unless anyone on here has any for sale aswell of course!

I would also be concerned as to the cause of the pipes splitting.
Is the fuel map correct, if not is it running too hot causing the split?

While you are on your knees sorting the pipes out, it may be a good ideas to clean out the gunk in the radiator, I have to do mine after riding through the winter, I reckon I have lost at least 1/4 of the cooling efficiency from the radiator there is so much crap in there!

Yes, I believe it has run too hot, it has a mivv 3-1 and as far as I’m aware the standard map. Just had a catalogue of other problems that has prevented me from getting it sorted.
If I had the pipes I would do it all in one fail swoop as I have been told it’s overdue a recall on the headlights, also I need new tyres so want to get all this sorted including a new map.

As far as the radiator is concerned how would I go about cleaning it out? Do you mean flushing and renewing the coolant?

The radiator...I am referring to all the crud that gets flung up off the front tyre and into the cooling fins.
When cleaning, use lots of water and nothing stiffer than a toothbrush - do not go poking sticks or use pressure washers :scream:
I only mention this as I looked at my radiator this morning and it is a lot more bunged up than I thought it would be causing it to lose its cooling ability resulting in the fan being on a lot more

There was another thread on here with someone selling their Pirelli Super Corsas cheap...I will edit htis post when I find a link....

yeah will give that a go. I have an evotech guard on it so I cant see how bad it may have got! My bike does run hot so this does need investigation although I'm sure it has something to do with the standard map.

have spent some time looking this evening and I cant seem to find anywhere that offers aftermarket downpipes. seem to be difficult to obtain unless you want either a full arrow or zard system. ill ring some dealers tomorrow but cheapest ones on ebay are £100 so may have to go for it unless anyone else has another plan.
