Petrol light roulette

Does anyone know what the remaining range on a Bonneville t1oo is when the petrol light comes on. It just occurred to me its not going to be 60 miles like my car. I have always filled up straight away when it comes on, but today I was tired and played petrol light roulette. I was only 4 miles away, just wondered how far you can push it.

Its reasonably easy to work out the remaining range when your fuel light comes on by just measuring how much you get in the tank and then subtracting that from the empty tank capacity. I know on the tiger when the light comes on I've still got about 40 miles

On my T100 Bonny the light normally comes on at about 220kms, but I have run it up to 270kms before fill-up and still only got in approx 13ltrs.

strap a 5 litre can of petrol to the back and see how far you go after the low fuel light comes on, then put in the 5 litres and find the nearest filling station!
