Well, he we go again with the "Honours" merry-go-round.
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-65914516
Some very worthy recipients, definately but also the usual crop of "luvvies" so here's my list for what it's worth......

David Cooper for services to the Babes on Bikes Thread.

Sandi T, Markus and Dartplayer for contribution to Travel/Food/Rideout content.

darkman for rebuilds and restoration of forgotten machinery.

Sandi T (again) and Mrs Visor for services to female motorcycling.

Everyone who's contributed to the "This made me laugh" thread for attempting to lift peoples spirits in the strange times we're living in.

Everyone who owns a Triumph, for owning a Triumph.

Apologies for those I have missed and feel deserving but keep trying, there's always next year, right?:):joy:

Well I agree entirely with your list and very well put. Secondly I detest the royal family and all that it stands for. On the other hand, a lot of the people that receive "honours" have done a lot of very good work and deserve some form of recognition although I would prefer some other method.

Just like to add, I think there should be some special super dooper award given to the first British PM who makes twelve months riding a motorcycle part of the car driving test.

Love this post, @Pegscraper! :heart:And NOT because you generously me included among the "honorees". There are so many awesome members of this forum--some post a little, some post a lot, and everything in between. Each member and contribution is what makes this forum the interesting and vibrant community that it is...and that it has been for some time now. Even when I get busy and am absent for a time, that vibrant community--brought together by the humble motorcycle--is what keeps me coming back. Thanks for this post that reminds us what a cool family we have in this forum, Pegscraper! :)

And I'll add to that award the first American President or at the very least the first Arizona governor who makes twelve months riding a motorcycle part of the car driving test. I'd even settle for two months! And to add to the "fun" these days, Arizona recently passed a law that allow motorcycle lane filtering. Think about a pinball machine and you get the picture.
