Just got back from a 1 hr ride (Orange County New York) with my wife on our new 2022 Bonneville T120 Gold LIne. The motorcycle is AWESOME. Performs better than I imagined it would while I was waiting for it. Coming out of a mountain road turn and hitting the gas is just scary. It's a rocket. That part is great. But - the seat has to go. I mean it's a tukus burner with capital FLAME! Any suggestions? I'm thinking about taking it apart and putting in a gel pack. Not sure if the seats I see on the internet fit the 2022 T120. Well, hello all! Love my bike, hate my seat. Here I sit buzzing and hurting hoping someone has an answer. Be well.
@ChessNibbler: I´m using the original Triumph comfort seat. I love it. 500 km/342 mi at a stretch is no problem! It´s part number: A2310736 (black) or A2310737 (brown). The costs are about €300/$322.
Greetings and welcome to the forum, @ChessNibbler! Sounds like a great new Bonnie you have. Hopefully you'll get that bum-burner seat sorted, though. There are a number of folks here who may be able to help you get it figured out. We love photos here on the forum so please share a few if you would!
Hello my friends! @Markus thank you for the feedback. I was worried that seat might not be any better because it looks the same, so thanks for your review. I think I'll buy it and keep the original stock seat for my wife to sell with the bike after I croak. I'll be hanging on to it until, it's just so sweet. @Sandi T - I wasn't going to offer this link because some forums discourage self promotion, but if you're interested and if I'm not violating a rule, you can check out a video I posted on youtube here: It shows my new bike, a Gold LIne T120. I just wish I could show you picutre of the way it accelerates! Thanks all for your attention.
ChessNibbler and to the forum from Lincolnshire. Nice video you did there, enjoy that Bonnie, and the forum too.
@Bikerman I grew up with two basset hounds so I have a fondness for the breed. Very stubborn with a nose that knows all. You can not trick them. i now have my second greyhound. Very different behavior. They are definitely the dorks in the room. Very laid back and sleepy until that 2 minutes everyday when they go zoooom.
Hi ChessNibbler and welcome to the forum thanks for posting the video. We all love bikes here, so the more ogling the better
