Most owners of the R model have complained about the fork springs being to harsh on the ohlins...i contacted Ohlins and they recommended ... 08790-90 with 9,0 N/mm springs..... the stock ones are 9.5 N/mm...has anyone gone this way using the 9.0 rather than send the forks out for re valve etc

They are harsh, but I'd recommend a suspension specialist to take a look and diagnose.

I'm lightweight, however I went with firmer springs, less preload and reduced compression damping. This meant the forks would react faster to bumps, less likely to skip over too. Made a massive difference.

Thanks Matt.... any adjustments in the forks alters the sag..... i have already set the forks up to what you suggested, less re/comp.. just waiting until the weekend to test...pre 5... comp 15... reb 12.. i will just play with the comp testing on the highway, see how it turns out if it dont i will go for the 9.0 springs, i changed the fork oil few weeks back.
