No, not as a gymnastics mat! To attach knee armour too in a effort to get them to sit vaguely over knee... The pads sit at right height now but are still more to the inside of the knee than central. Got these yellow Knox pads as they are a bit wider that the ones that came with my Merlin waxed trousers but still don't fit properly. The original pads hung down the inside of my calves due to a combination of pocket being too big and in wrong place and it being attached to a baggy loose liner. If my latest effort doesn't behave in use then I'll just have to dispense with knee armour and stick with mouse mat for a tiny pit of protection. I've always suspected knee armour is pointless anyway, can't see how in an off it would stay in the right place to protect you, unless you're in the habit of wearing skin tight riding jeans or something like that.
