Hi to all - just posting about a problem with Norman Hyde Toga silencers.

I took these off my 2004 790 carb T100 when I sold it and now want to fit them to my 2006 865 Carb T100 but the brackets dont fit for some reason.

my question is, is anyone aware that the rear part of the frames on 790 and 865 differ ?

Good afternoon - an update on the Toga bracket issue... I had another crack at it this morning and have managed to bend the mounting bracket a couple of times and have got it to work on the offside so will do the same on the near side. The brackets are quite malleable up to a point despite being Chromed and quite heavy duty When the Togas are on the bike they angle slightly upwards and also outwards which is a bit weird but they did that on my previous bike too....

Another oddity is that when I fitted the near side silencer there was only a rubber bump stop for the centre stand and nothing for the side stand I got over this temporarily by cable tying a short piece of poly water pipe to the top end of the stand so that when folded up it stops the stand going all the way up to the silencer and preventing my boot from catching the pull down spur :

I have Norman Hyde's on my 2010 injected the exhaust runs straighter on mine but I also had to cobble extra stops for the stands.

Thank you so much! I love the colour scheme of this one - had a green and gold 04 model before but this one is the best! ❤️
Ah that’s interesting! Lovely bike in the blue and orange!

Rainman, you might be able to refit the original side stand stop, have you tried that? I did so for my 2011 T100, when I installed my TEC Parts exhausts. A bit fiddly, but doable.
