    Hello Everyone
I've just joined the forum as I've got some bits and pieces that you may be interested in. I trust this doesn't upset any rules, but I had a Street Triple and latterly a Bonneville. And I've recently sold the Bonneville and bought the BMW RS. (Sorry guys but I wanted to get the new Bonneville 1200 and Triumph offered me £5k for mine with two thousand miles on the clock and including extras it had cost me £9k as it was the limited edition one, and it was only one and a half years old. BMW paid me £6k)

On the basis I'm not breaking any rules I have
    a Triumph Optimate 3+,
two standard brand new Bonneville exhaust pipes (I changed the standard ones when I bought the bike),
a 30 litre Kriga bag used once on a trip,
two 20 litre Kriga bags also used on a trip,
Triumph waterproof Jacket in grey small size (36/46)
    Triumph waterproof trousers small size
Street Triple standard indicators front and rear (changed to leds when I bought the new bike)

I will accept reasonable offers for any or all of the above bits and pieces and my email address is [email protected].

Thanks for you support and I'll miss not having a Triumph, I suppose I'll have to do with a BMW.

    Regards

    Paul

    Hi Mark
Got pxxssd off with the treatment I got from Triumph but the new Bonneville is a dream. But can't complain about the RS though.

Falcon, I am dreading what I might get for mine in part ex as I am looking to chnage my T100 next year, but you are right they do take the piss. A few B&W owners are on here too, I just can`t bring myself to say those 3 letters together, lol.

    Hi Mark

It's not that bad. After all we're still all on two wheels. Though I have had a few comments from my brother in law who drives a GS. But I now can safely say I've got a John Deere on steriods.

    Drive safely and keep well.

Clearly Triumph are getting it wrong if they can't keep loyal customers, enjoy the new BMW :)

Thank you Darkman. Much appreciated and you're right especially since I had bought three new bikes in three years. Can't wait to get the running in over.

    Hi Littleade
I too qualify for being old and a shorty and agree about it being a bit wristy but I'll see how I get on and if becomes uncomfortable I'll just get the extenders or take the cheap option and use a cushion. But it does drive nice IMHO.

    Welcome!
Shame to hear you had problems with Triumph!
I've never bought a 'new' bike, or anything 'new-ish' from a dealership so never had such dealings!

    Hi PhilB
    Thanks for the welcome. Appreciated.
Wasn't a problem with any of the bikes just poor customer appreciation I suppose.
And if not ever buying a new bike is not out of choice. I hope you win the lottery or something so you can. Best of luck mate.

Cheers Chap, It's a work in progress through the winter then she'll be getting a nice easy run out round the Lake District. Once I've fettled up one or two bits and bobs like the clutch and brakes and some some cosmetic TLC on the paint work & MOT then off we go with a big CHEESY GRIN on my face.
