Hi Andb and welcome. Triumph America - lovely bike and well-tested. No special issues that I know of, to look out for.

Get it home, give it an engine oil and filter service; replace the airfilter; check/replace the brake pads, clean the callipers; check/replace the steering & wheel bearings; etc etc etc

Wealth of knowledge on here pal. Unfortunately, I have none of your particular model. :(

    Enjoy the forum.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Plenty of America owners on here will be glad to help. The Bonneville engine is very reliable and there aren't any issues with it.
