Evening all. New member here and just wanted to say “hello”. Names Darren and I am based in Aberdeen, UK. Not had a bike in a few years (last one was Bonneville T100 Black), but the itch bit again and so last week I collected my new Triumph Street Triple S. Few pics attached. Only “mods” so far are a tail tidy, and bar end mirrors. Don’t intend doing much else. Am interested in a dash cam setup, so if anyone has any recommendations, keen to hear. Hi Darren, Good looking bike you got there! I'm looking at getting one for the missus soon. I was wondering if you had any opinion on if getting the "S" over the "R" is good choice. I'm almost certain you must have done the research before buying. There's a new 2018 street S at my local dealer and the price is very convincing. Thanks!

For me, I wanted a bike that I could use occasionally. So spending the extra for the R just didn’t make sense. For what I need it to do, the S is ideal. Things like the new TFT dash on the new R, and a few other “toys” would of been nice, but really they’d have been luxuries rather than necessities for me.
