A BIG HOWDY!! from TEXAS!! I am new here and looking for some info on the new Triumph's. Looking to get me a Thunderbird love the looks of that fine bike:upyeah: I do mot see a lot of them on the roads here. The only bikes that I have had, have been Honda's so far, NO WAY would I spend my hard earned $$$$ on a Harley, and the NEW Rice burner's all seem to be the V twins........ Cruisers Honda has the new CB 1100 inline 4 it is nice all though, Something about that Thunderbird keeps calling my name!!.... or it could be Grand dad calling out to me, He was a Triumph man from years past, :upyeah: I do have a lot of Brit in me My Mums side is from over there.
Any way look for info about warranty's and the reliability of the Triumph, O' yea are the T bird's Made in England? I have herd that Triumph is made off shore

Welcome, the Thunderbird range is increasing this year. Already available are the standard 1600 & the 1700 storm, now there's the LT (touring) and a commander 1700 CC

    Welcome to the forum DM.

From what I've read the T Birds are a great bike, loads of grunt and handle very well for a cruiser and cannot say I have heard about any major issues with them.

As far as where they are built I believe that the casting is done in Thailand and all the finishing and assembly is done in the UK.

Welcome on the Triumph forum, ductman! Don't worry about buying a Thunderbird, I had NOTHING but good experience with my 3 Triumph's so far, very reliable motorcycles!
Yes, once in a while a small problem can occur, but that's normal for any brand, or when riding any kind of transport! When you service your Triumph like it should, you're going to be very satisfied with your choice, count on that! Greetings from Belgium:upyeah:
