Hi and thanks for having a good forum, I've had a quick read through but struggling to find info.

I have just bought my first 1200 Trophy, it's 15 years old and relatively low mileage 8k,. However the rear brake looks a bit ground in. What rear brakes would you recommend.

Hi Geoffrey, if it were my bike I would strip and clean the caliper, then install EBC pads.

Cheers, I'm new to Triumphs and completely thick when it comes to anything other than putting fuel in.

Must say I do love the hike though

Hello & welcome. I always use SBS sintered pads for the front, the rears get a cheap pad, stops me locking up especially in the wet too easily.

mmmmm sintered pads seem to give more probs with juddering on the front. I have gone back to ceramic, not so hot on quick stops but no juddering ,no other change to my system. Ok thats on my Sprint, dont say it is a rule.
