Ok so I know little or nothing about them but am severely tempted. Currently own a Ducati 748SPS.
All the reviews seem good on the net and on you tube. I fancy a change as always had sports bikes and a cafe racers with modern touch seems to tick the boxes at least.
I originally thought about a modern Norton for the looks but so many mixed reviews on reliability and parts issues.
Anyway I'm 6ft 2 and 15stone, will I fit one is question one?
Question two being where in south Yorkshire should I go to test ride or buy from?
Insurance- any specialist companies worth approaching?
And finally what issues if any have people got/had? Appreciate it's a fairly new bike but got to ask.
    Cheers

    Hi Chris,
    Welcome in.
If you can afford it, it's really worth considering, I haven't heard s bad word about the ride yet. There's been a few cosmetic issues with the finish and vibrations, someone who had experienced them will post I'm sure. Insurance wise, it seems different courses for different horses, people with similar bikes get different quotes from same insurers so get on the comparison sites and see what's on offer, Hastings, Carol Nash, are a couple but there are more, look at those including leathers , helmet and breakdown. Again there's been lots of discussion on here about it so you will get more posts.

Hi Chris, i sat on one for the first time at the weekend,i was surprised at how small it felt when i sat on it,the tank is really narrow which felt odd to me,it would be interesting to hear from owners on here if they are all smaller guys?

I'm hopeful to find a local dealer with stock to test ride. I've got to sell my 748SPS first but I do like them and it's nice to read so many positive reviews.
Originally I saw the previous model Thruxton and the prices are similar to what my bike should fetch but the two triumph bikes appear to be totally different beasts now with the newer model.
I'll get insurance quotes too as currently I pay 167quid on a classic policy.
