Newbie on a 96 Thruxton

    Hi I live in London and recently got myself a Thruxton, it's my first proper bike so an all round newbie.

    Just one question Will, are you sure it's a 1996 Thruxton you've got? I only ask as I thought the modern day Thruxtons only came out after 2001 as part of the new Bonneville Twin range.

    I believe they came out in 2004, it could be someone has converted a 96 bonnie. Either way welcome in to the forum, I have a thrxton and love it so whatever yours is enjoy it. Why not chuck a photo in the thruxton piccie forum, I live outer London so might see you at a local café one day

    Thanks for the welcome guys, and apologies I was a decade out (slight oversight), I meant to say a 2006 model!
