Here is a pic of my 95 Sprint which I have had for almost 3 years. She is not the cleanest nor the prettiest but she is all mine and I love her loads. She is called Tilly except for when she is giving me a bad time, then she becomes Matilda, a proper little madam. I did not like the angle of the original bars as they gave me wrist ache, so i fitted a simple fork top converter to use standard tubular bars. I fitted Renthal low superbike bars and after a little fettling to suit, have finally got them at the preferred angle for myself ( different to pic). I also fitted standard type mirrors as the Sprint ones were a little low for me and I didnt like them. The seat has a Jim Beam bar towel as a cover, not coz of split, just coz I happen to like Jim Beam and to me it looks cool, lol.

I rode many British bikes in my first spell on bikes, starting off with a BSA Starfire to pass my test, Matchless 350, BSA A65 Rocket and of course, the Bonnie as stand out bikes. I then got myself a CB750 SOHC which I had for many years until the family, dog etc came along and I needed a car. In my mid 50s, with the family grown up and a couple of divorces later, I got the urge to get another bike and bought a CB500 from the 90s. Whilst looking for spares for this when the head gasket went, I saw the Sprint and just had to buy. I always liked the look of the Hinckley Triumphs but never expected to be able to afford one but I bid on her and was lucky enough to win the auction. My first ride on her was from Milton Keynes back home to Brum, she didnt seem to keen to steer but as I found out when I got home there was only 20 lbs in the front tyre. I have had more than a few problems, mostly small, but my sprag went and I needed the engine out as it does not have the plate fitted for easy removal. That cost me a small fortune but I am hoping she will prove to be worth it. To me she is a keeper no matter what.

    Hope you like her.
