Hi, I am a new member on here, just found the site. I am a member on a couple of other forums too . I have a 95 Sprint 900 which I have owned for over two years now and love it loads. I call her Tilly but when she gives me grief she becomes Matilda, a real little madam. She isnt the cleanest or the prettiest but she is a great bike and we have lots of fun together.I got back into biking in my mid 50s having owned various old British bikes in the 70s including a brand new US spec Bonnie in 78. I also had a CB750 Honda SOHC in the 80s. I always liked the look of the Hinckley bikes but never thought I would be able to afford one, there I was one day looking for bits for my CB500 on ebay when I saw this Sprint and thought, why not? I didnt like the original bars as they were angled too far back and my wrists ached so i got a converter for normal tubular bars and fitted renthal superbike bars and it is much better now. I took the original mirrors off too as they were a bit low for me, and fitted a pair of normal handlebar mirrors which give me a better view of whats behind me. The seat has a Jim Beam bar mat as a cover, not coz the seat is torn, just coz I like it,lol. I am trying to post a pic, hope this works,it is from outside the factory at Hinckley where she was born.
sorry about the duplicated threads. been having probs and didnt know if it was working or not. Please feel free to delete any excess posts, sorry
