Hi everyone, thank-you for accepting me into the forum. I am a long-time biker, having passed my test back in October 1972, when I was an airman in the RAF. The majority of my past motorcycles have been Yamahas, with the odd Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki thrown in. I bought my first Triumph, a 2005 Tiger 955i, last year when I was preparing for a trip to Arromanche-les-Bains, Gold Beach, with an old RAF buddy. It came with a top box and Triumph panniers, an aftermarket end can and adjustable screen. I added a ball mount bracket for a mobile phone on the left handlebar and another for a Satnav from the nose fairing. I absolutely loved the ride comfort, torquey engine and fuel range, and it ate up the 200+ mileage there and back. It's now an established bike in my stable, alongside the Yamaha Thunderace, XS2, BSA C15 and a Kawasaki ZX7R for track days. So there you have it, retired now and looking forward to some great rides this year.
