Hi all, I recently acquired a 2000 Sprint ST 955i which needs some work to get it back on the road. Hopefully i can get some help along the way which might prove useful to someone else. Cheers for now.

Thanks for the welcome, it’s taken some time and patience whilst waiting for the parts I needed to get the ST roadworthy but the time has come and it passed the safety inspection, called a Besiktning here in Sweden yesterday.
The hardest parts to source were the CPC quick couplings for the fuel tank pump plate. The recall hadn’t been done when i checked the database but the recommended Triumph workshop said they couldn’t do it as the bike was pre 2008. So I was basically on my own. Once that was finally sorted it was just the usual oil, filters, coolant flush, spark plugs and some rear hub bearing re-greasing that was left.
The fairings need some work as the bike had been shiny side down some time in the past and the fairing mounting repairs need to be redone. So for this season it will be a half naked Sprint ST like a scruffy version of the RS.
    All the best
    Al
