Hello all, and thanks for the add. New to the forum but not new to Triumph. I have to admit I have had Triumph triples pretty constantly since 1976 when I got my T160 (alas I wish I still had that now!). I've owned a few Hinckley triples including 595/955 Daytona. Now semi retired but when working my commute was always by motorcycle 12 months of the year and put on 50k miles on two Tiger 1050s. Now riding a 1215 Explorer. Reason for joining the forum is I am about to embark on a project to rebuild a Tiger Cub I have had in bits in my garage for the past 30 years so may be reaching out for some advice! I also have another basket case arriving soon which is a 59 Triumph 21 350 (3TA), so plenty of work ahead of me!
Hi, I'm new here too - built up a 1959 3TA/5TA from a box of bits many years ago. Needless to say, at 17 years old I used the 500 engine, and as it was 1970 it got the high bars and backrest treatment! Here is my girlfriend, now wife, with the Triumph in all it's 70's orange 'chopper' glory!
