    Hi One & all,

Just found this site so had to join so i can pick the brains of others on maintaining my Daytona`s. Of course also sharing any info i may have to hopefully help you lot out at some time.

Triumph history for me is all 3 Hinckley`s all Daytona`s. First one was a red 94 900 which i bought in 95 from the now defunct Ideal garage in Birmingham. I kept it for around a year before seeing a CBX-6 which i just had to have! The Black 900 was in a local rag 8 years ago with just 4,800 miles on for £1500. Bought it as soon as i saw it as it was as good as my red 94 was which i sold over 10 years before! Now has just shy of 10K on it & never missed a beat.

Latest addition is the 1000. Owned 2 weeks. Not my kind of purchase normally but i had to save it from breakers/morons so bought it. Love it but it needs lots & lots of TLC as its not pretty close up but panels are off to the painters soooon.

Ive heard there were 300 of the Daytona 1000 made, is this correct lads? Also what was the number of the first one & how did it work as being "modular" were the Daytona`s numbered between 001 to 300(750`s) then 300 to 600 for the 1000`s??? Any one looked into this??? Am i blind & not trolled the site enough lol

    Any way Enjoy your bikes!http://thetriumphforum.co.uk/forum/images/icons/icon6.png
