Hi from Belfast, I have a 2001 Triumph Tiger 885i, i believe the only one left in Northern Ireland. Complete nut and bolt rebuild by a friend with no expense spared before he sold it to me.
I have a little over revving problem i cant seem to trace and i was wondering is there an OBD reader on this bike and if so can anyone tell me where is the port and where to buy a reader and all needed, please.
This is my first post on this site and i am unfamiliar with its layout at the moment.

Hello and Welcome. I don't know very much at all about the EFI bikes but I THINK (don't quote me on it) the OBD port is under the seat somewhere.

I think you need TuneECU to play with settings? There's an interesting thread here that's old but seems relevant to the problems you describe ...

    Good luck with it!

Adie P Has given you the answer. But also check for air leaks. Welcome to the family.
Do hit the upload a file button and show of the steed to the inmates here in the asylum.

Have a good look around the battery area. On my t509 the obd connector is in front of the battery and pulls out easily. If I recall correctly it is light grey. If you go down the tuneecu route you will need a cable, lonelec are recommended and available on eBay. I think tuneecu software cost is around £20. Lots of help on their site and a forum too. Good luck.

G'day and welcome to the forum. I'm in Holywood.
If your 885i is similar to my 2003 955i the port is under the seat.
If the problem continues maybe Moto-Tech (Ballinderry area) or Stephen Murphy (near Balloo) could help.

Hi Mike, mini here from Adelaide south Australia welcome to the asylum!!. Not sure if you're onto the OBD port yet hope these photos will help. OBD cable and only the LX or MX will work with tune ecu. Hope you have some good fun.

If you are plannng to use TuneECU to make changes to your bikes mapping you will want to use a USB attached ODB adapter which will allow you to read and save the existing map as well as writing a modified map, it will also allow you to run various service procedures. If you only want the service procedures you can use a Bluetooth ODB adapter. The TuneECU website can suggest appropriate adapters. Here is also a list of which motorcycles are supported on the TuneECU website.... I can't see your 885i listed, unless it comes under Tiger 800 (up to 2014)?
