Thanks I get out on it as often as the Mrs, work and the weather allow.
I've got the bits for a couple of new mods to do between shifts, pics will follow.

These are my latest alterations, new tail/stop light & black plate.
Had to make a window in the bottom of the light to illuminate the plate myself.

Hi Steve I got the bike with the lamp already fitted so can only tell you what I know.
I don't think there is much in the way of wiring in there at all. image.jpg image.jpg
As you can see from the pic there is a bit of extra wiring that's had to be tucked under the tank.
Some is still on show as well.
My self and my son, who's a sparky are going to tidy the whole of the wiring over this winter.
It all seems to work ok but it's not as tidy as it could be.
And I haven't actually rode in the dark yet on the Bonnie since I got it. Haha

Got to agree with you about looking better, I got all the standard bits in a box when I bought the bike.
The standard one looks like a WWII anti aircraft light when you put it against mine.
Definatly gives the front end a lighter and more slimline look. Imo
And I must be getting a gain on the sprung weight of the bike, kilos lost from standard.
I've got some "stealth indicators " to fit yet as well, I think mine look cheap and nasty.
They are eBay specials from hong kong but they look perfectly serviceable to me.
