A friend of mine that I meg at the track a month ago who has a kickass factory built daytona 675 track bike told me he had some parts lying around off a 765 he had that was totaled when hit by a car.

He had a GPR stabilizer he didn't need but had no fit kit for it since it was on a 765 and as a bonus he had a set of Arrow rearsets he no longer needed!

So I called GPR and ordered the fit kit for my 675... $190. As for the rearsets I will need a hydraulic brake switch to get the brake light to work. If anyone would like to know our banjo bolt on the rear brake is a coarse thread. The electrical leads slipped right into the plug so no wire splicing was needed

The sifter side was pretty easy. Only issue I had was that my cf heel plate mounting holes were off. So I fashioned a small bracket out of a hose clamp.

While I was at it my new cf pieces came in at the same time so I put on the sprocket cover and reservoir cover while I was at it.

Next came my engine case covers. I had yo search around the USA for a set since no one could give me a definitive answer on the GB Racing set for the Daytona would work. My guess is they would but the Triumph ones are less $ and there a throw away part once used.

So now I'm ready for my next trackday at NCM in KY next month. No more peg dragging and the engines protected from a minor crash if needed and my steering will have some forgiveness to it when the front wheels off thd ground in spots on the 2nd small straight with the table top.

Well I went on a little trip this week up north to Cleveland Ohio, I've bought a house up there and will be moving in September to go back to school. But while I was there I made a trip to the local triumph dealership and picked up some off the shelf parts I've been want to add to the triple. Picked up the red oil filler cap and the red dipstick, both are already drilled for safety wire.

Also my fit kit for my GPR stabilizer came in while I was out of town so while I was at it I put it on.
