Hello everyone my name is Eddie, this is the first time I have joined any forum so please excuse me as I find my way around, I started riding in 1978 for several years then marriage and children and mortgage meant I had to give it up but now after a long break I decided I wanted to get back on a bike again before I got too old so I bought a new Bonneville T100 Black in September 15 and so here I am back on two wheels and thought this might be a good place to pick up idea's and advice and chat with like minded people, Eddie.
Similar story to myself, welcome on board Eddie. Loads of good helpful advice, stories and banter going on here. Nice choice of bike as well, ride safely.
Thanks everyone I look forward to getting into some chats, things have moved on quite a bit since I last had a bike especially the clothing, it's so much more effective than I remember it used to be, I also want to get some advice on suspension for the bonny too more for the pillions benefit it would be nice to get it to ride the bumps a bit smoother if possible!
Hi Wessa and thank you, I like the thunderbird lt, I took one for a test ride same colour loved it but thought it was a bit big as a first bike after such a long break but who knows what the future holds in store.
Thanks for that I will look into it, was meant to be my reply without the (how) at the end! Finger trouble it was late in the day
A warm welcome from me, and a good choice of chariot sir, I too am a T100 owner but mine has the shiny chrome stuff on it, be safe
