    Hello

Bought my first triumph about 5 weeks ago and loving how the thruxton handles. My previous bike was an HD dyna sport and a different beast altogether.

Really keen to get my new bike very cafe racer and already started the mods - can you spot them

    Cheers
    Kev

The difference is so noticeable. I had dreams of owning a HOG and i tricked it out quite smart . It was pretty to look at but handled like s##t and hard work.

My second bike would need to be a Speed Triple R tbh Although need to tick that ducati box some time

Hi Kev, welcome to the playground. Nice choice of bike, much better than an HD.

Kev, don't be too eager to tick the Ducati box, had one (ST2), nice ride and all that but, the slightest problem throws up major cost as most non-Duc fixers either don't like them or won't touch them.

Never owned a HOG but had one on hire for a weekend while working Stateside. Beautiful on the wide open back roads and interstates of Georgia but probably the worlds worst thing to have on our overcrowded roads and of course they aren't made for our wet weather and the amount of salt our councils chuck about when ther's a slight nip in the air.

Totally agree- it would and was great in a straight line but add country pot holed roads and you have one bouncy tracker But i did love that bike it was just time for a change .
