New tank badges (at last)

I've been looking for a pair of the earlier screw on metal tank badges for my spare speedie tank, I have a set of "Peel & Stick" plastic chrome badges from a later model but I never really liked the idea of having something on my bike held on by double sided tape. Anyway after a long search I finally brought a pair of Thruxton metal badges that the owner had sprayed black, cost me $85 Aussie dollars delivered and came with the rubber mounting gaskets and mounting screws. So I stripped and polished them up today, I was going to paint the Triumph script but I like the all chrome look so I'll leave it as is for a while. These screw on badges are really hard to get hold of here in Australia and while they are still listed they are no longer available new from Triumph, the ultimate for me anyway would be the 900 Thunderbird tank badges.
