Having very recently bought a Street Twin without realising that a new model was being announced today, I've had my heart in my mouth for the past week. However, if this early news release is accurate it doesn't sound like there's anything too revolutionary about the updated model.

Anyone else found other news on the updates as yet?

    Edit: oops - try here!

Okay then - try here! I have to say that I'm pretty pissed off, as the extra horses would have been nice. Not too bothered about the rest of the tinkering really.

Edit: Well, apart from the front brakes!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'll try to forget about the four-pot Brembo calipers

I have a 2018 Street Twin (love it) and have been reading about the new 2019. A few nice upgrades, but apparently the 2019 will have more power, but same peak torque as 2018. More power comes from higher redline (7,000 rpm up to 7,500 rpm), but peak torque for the 2019 will happen at higher rpm. So for me considering I don't redline my bike (The Bonneville was never intended to be a sport bike) I like the 2018 engine because peak torque happens at lower rpm where I use it most of the time. The 2018 already has plenty of power (for me) and peak torque at lower rpm where I want it.

Hi, Triumph have finally listened to gripes about the bike not having a good top end and have been in contact with TEC bike spares who developed a better cam that gave more power. I just hope they have cured the cold starting problem that I had with my street scrambler which kangarooed up the road in the winter months when cold due to the lean mixture setting to get through euro 4 emissions.
Now have a 765s which has behaved itself so far.
