    Hello Guys,

I got my first proper big bike from a dealer on Friday - 2016 Street Twin and I’m loving it. Today while I was parking it in the shed and reversing I hear this squeaky sound. Is that something serious and worth going to dealer or is that easy fix or should I just leave it?

I recorded it and uploaded to YouTube

    Any help super appreciated!

    Thank you!

Binding brake I would say. I would probably nip to dealer and demonstrate that noise to them so they can sort it.

Binding brake was also my first thought.
Second thought was something rubbing on the rear tyre.
Yet to have a third thought. Two thoughts in a day are enough for anyone!:cold_sweat:

Thanks for all the replies, guys! It’s nice to be in a Triumph family and this bike makes me smile so much! Loving it.

Just a bit annoying that after a couple of days I’m getting that! Will see how it goes tomorrow, if it doesn’t stop I’ll stop by the dealer and they will probably sort it out! Will let you know what it was :)

Welcome Jakub. Take the bike back to the dealer and ask them to fix the squeak while you have a cuppa.

Thanks guys for all the replies, the noise has stopped. I spoke to a guy in a shop where we bought a helmet for my girlfriend. He said it’s nothing serious and most probably it’s just vibrations. Next day it stopped. Will let you know if it comes back! Really appreciate your help! Loving the bike
