Picked up the Speed Twin in early September, just now getting around to introducing myself. Mine's a 2020 model, as they were out of red 2019s at my local dealer. The Speed Twin joins my Honda ST1300, Harley XR1200x, Kawasaki KLR650, and a 1973 Honda CL350. The other motorcycles will do one thing or another better than the Speed Twin, but it will likely become my "just go for a ride to nowhere in particular" bike. I've always admired the old British twins, and the Speed Twin lets me have that style with some nice modern conveniences. Thus far I've added a Dart flyscreen, and this weekend will install the Hepco & Becker C-Bow mounts and soft bags. (All good quality stuff, at a reasonable price.) I'm checking on suspension upgrades, as the stock equipment isn't quite up to the aftermarket stuff on my ST and XR. (Just like good bourbon and cigars will spoil you for the cheaper stuff.) I've checked with Race Tech and Traxxion Dynamics so far, and I'm hoping to hear back from Olins. This will likely be a winter project.
Roginoz. Welcome to the family. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and let the inmates see the steed. Here in the asylum we like pictures. Regards & Ride Safe Joe.
