Well, as these things usually happen, I went in to my local shop to get 2-stroke oil for the old RD and order a part for the KTM, and came out with a 2019 Street Twin! It's not fast, the forks suck, the rear brakes squeak, and it's a little porky for its size, but it only has 1,650 miles on it, and I can't stop smiling when I ride the thing! I love it! I've got a few upgrades planned over the long Wisconsin winter, but nothing too crazy. I might do the Nitron fork kit for some adjustability. Being an old motocrosser and a decent suspension tuner, I'm a bit of a diva when it comes to forks and shocks.
Welcome in, as you've found out it's dangerous to visit motorcycle dealers without a grown up to supervise you
