Hi Matt and welcome to the forum.
I have a Tiger XRx but have not heard of this problem.
Is this while the bike is standing with just the ignition on or does it still show blank when you are on the move?
When I fill mine up it still shows the same reading when the ignition is switched on and won't show full until the bike is on the move.

Hi Steve , thanks for the welcome.
The gauge goes up/down when the ignition is turned on but then shows nothing at all on the move or idling.its baffled me.

Yes it can do if the ones you get do not make contact with the clutch sensor switch. This is due to the sensor switch not having the correct contact, so the fuel gauge does not respond.
I only spotted this on the Triumphrat forum just before I ordered mine - who would have thought it?

You have got at least half a tank of fuel in there Matt? As well as the light staying on,do you have ANY reading on the fuel gauge?
