Only got this today and haven't put more than a dozen miles into it so cant really call this a review, but I'm pretty made up with this lid.

Scorchio today and I'm delighted that the vents work as well as the marketing guff suggests. Lovely flow of fresh air running all around my bald skull. Bostin!

Fits a treat and immediately didn't notice I was wearing it. Bostin again!

As soon as I opened the box I swapped the visor for the included darker tinted one, and it took a couple of seconds.

Nice & light and great field of vision. Quiet too.

So far, ticking all the boxes.

I know you say it fits a treat, would you say the sizing is accurate?

Treated myself to a HJC IS-Max ll last week and covered about 350 miles in it so far. It is my first flip front lid and up to now very impressed. A little on the heavy side, but well balanced, far quieter and better vents than my Shark Vision R.

I've been looking at the hjc flip front, I have a hjc full face at the moment and fancy a flip front. Keep me updated on your experience of it.
    Cheers,

    Will do Andy
I like the fact it looks like a regular full face helmet when the front is down. I don't like the fact it makes me look like a hamster when the front is up :-( I also tried it with my glasses on (normally wear contacts for riding) and there is plenty of clearance and not pressure points on the sides like some.
