    Hi,

I'm Fred W from Vermont, USA. I go by "1 Wheel Drive" on most of the forums I participate in on-line. Been a 2017 Triumph Bonneville T100 owner for a few years now, sharing time with four other bikes currently.

Love the little Bonnie for tooling around town. It's a perfect bike for the country back roads of northern New England. I'll update my info and upload some photos soon. Also have a few questions about identifying my bike model for parts orders that I'll find an appropriate place to post them.

    See ya around

Welcome! My Sprint GT seems to be a bit unusual in these forums, but the 1050 engine is probably common to other bikes.

That said, our visit to Vermont was one of our favorites, as it is easily reached from Northwest NJ. We stayed at an Air BnB near Burlington, and rode the bike to most of the ski areas around there (probably 500 miles of riding over three days). Stowe to Smuggler's Notch (through the "notch") was most memorable, as were all of the covered bridges we saw. We had lots of choices for craft brews when we returned (using the 4-wheeled vehicle).

    Where do you ride?

Greetings and welcome to the forum from an Arizonan, @1 Wheel Drive! We'd love to see a pic or two of your Bonnie. And I'm curious to know what other bikes are in your stable?

I ride all over northern New England. We live on the eastern side of Vermont in the Connecticut River valley, just south of White River Junction, so great riding in all directions. Riding in the mountains is the best, ideally on weekdays when there are fewer tourists clogging up the twisty roads.

Here’s a recent photo of my little Bonnie. It was taken as a tag photo for one of the Tag-o-rama games on ADVrider forum.

I bought her used about 3 years ago with only 10k miles on the clock. Have only added about 4k miles myself, but it is a joy to ride around, especially in the warmer months. The only things I’ve done to it is added the Dart Flyscreen to take the wind off my chest at higher speeds, and the set of Givi semi-soft saddlebags that look the part and give me a place to stash extra gloves and liners on day rides.

My other rides are a 2014 Yamaha FJR1300 that I bought new w/ almost 70k miles on it now, a 2017 Africa Twin CRF1000 also bought new as a leftover in 2018 (good price) that is the perfect bike for all the dirt roads in Vermont. We actually live about 3 mikes from the nearest pavement. I also have an old 2004 Suzuki DL1000 that I’ve put many dirt road miles on. I’m currently in process of trying to sell that one off as the Africa Twin has taken its spot in the lineup.

And my most recently bought 2 wheeler is a nearly new 2020 Husqvarna FE501 enduro. I put a dual sport kit on it (lights, turn signals, horn, mirrors) and registered it for the road so I can ride it legally to the trails. It only weighs about 250 lbs., but is a 500cc single.

So, you see, I have lots of choices.
