Greetings. I’ve recently bought myself a 2018 Speedmaster (ex demo) and loving it. Having been on a Ducati Monster for a while the SP is a cruise liner. It’s kind of tells me to stop rushing about and take things a bit more relaxed. Just installed pannier bars (Triumph ones) and will be looking for suitable sling over luggage, so suggestions very welcome. This morning my Madstad touring screen came and I spent an hour scratching my head before figuring out the Meccano. Makes a huge difference. I bought the 20in smoked. Taller riders might need the bigger one. So now looking for the big adventure overseas solo ride. Any thoughts?

Hi Mate and Welcome to the Forum
As for the overseas trip, there are so many choices! My personal favourite was the Pyrenees riding from Santader down and around Andorra & back via Pamplona.
Wherever you go, enjoy and post photos on here. :sun:

Yeah screen is 20in. It unclips in 3 seconds and I’m only planning to use it on long trips. Thanks for Pyrenees suggestion Bad Boy. Like the sound of that.

Hi Tigcraft. I still have it 620 i.e. Great fun but not a tourer. I’ve also got a YBR which I learned on and a Honda Forza for my commute to the station. Not bad for starters . Passed my test early December so you might say I’ve got the bug.
    Do you have a Duke?

Thanks Wessa. Sounds interesting. I’ll have a think about it. Northumberland is beautiful but probably 2 days’ ride from Sussex.

Have a look at Kriega throw over panniers, that's what I use.
Plenty of stuff and opinions to research on here though to help muddy the waters!
Enjoy your bike and good luck with your tour wherever it takes you.
