    You may not believe it, but my wife got her "new" new bike today.
    What happened.
    After our last riding weekend with about 1.000 km she got really problems with her cervical spine. Distances up to 200 km weren't a problem. But +300 and more got a problem on her new bike, the BMW R12 Nine T. The problems are related to the vibrations of the boxer engine. Therefore she made a quick decision last friday and ordered a new Yamaha XSR 900 with some mods.
    Today we rode on my bike together to our dealer and she rode home with her " new" new bike.
    Now we have after one month and +2.000 km an additional bike, the BMW, to sell.:no_mouth:
    Despite very bad weather (3-5 degrees celsius and rain/some snow) at our ride back home she is now really satisfied.:)
    Mods:
    Heat grips
    Windscreen (just mounted back home)
    Lowering kit
    In the following some pictures of her "new" new bike.

    @Boothman: You are right. The repurchase offer of the BMW dealer was a disaster. :scream: She would have lost nearly 1/3 of the original price she payed a month ago. Therefore we will sell it privately.

    So long as Mrs Markus is happy, that's the important thing.
    Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and do what's necessary. I made a similar decision in 2011, payed just short of £17k for a Ducati, lived with it for 3 months and ended up off loading it for £12500. The Kawasaki dealer I was buying the replacement from wasn't interested in part-ex so I ended up with a private sale, eventually. In the end I was just glad to get shut and take a lesson from it.
    Good luck with the sale Markus.

    @Pegscraper: Many thanks to you! I hope we will get it sold to an "interesting" price. Otherwise I will have to ride two BMW's.

    Have you tried the Trident 660? I got my wife one... she rode a Harley FatBoy 1800 and said I'm down grading to a 660cc.... After just 10 km on the 660 she stopped and said she will never go back to the Harley. She was blown away with the 660's torque, speed, comfort, lightness... it is now 5000km later and she has never looked back. Regards.

    @Old Biker:
    After 4 years riding a Triumph Tiger900 and about 1,5 years riding a Triumph T120 she has now "finished" with the trademark Triumph for a while.
    The 660 is a really cool bike, but she wanted more "performance".;)
