    Hi everyone,

Well I have owned lots of Suzuki's, Yam's and even a kawasaki in the past but never a Triumph.

So I have just gone and bought myself a 1993 Triumph Daytona 750, although a previous owner who had a slow speed spill and wrecked the plastics has put Sprint plastics and raised bars on it. But I'm happy with that as my Sports bike days are behind me now as my wrists and back cant take the riding position for any length of time anymore!!

Paid £700 for her and she had been sat in the guys back garden since June when the MOT ran out as it was too heavy for him and 3 nearly dropped it 3 times at the lights. Anyhoo the battery was flat, so popped a charged one in and she fired first time with no problems! She runs nice but has a very slight bog if you give it a handfull quickly (any ideas what could be causing it??) but if your smooth with the throttle it has no problems at all. And the only other problem it has is the fuel tap wont stay in the "on" position. It drops slightly and it is just enough to starve the engine of fuel and it eventually cuts out. Is this a common fault does anyone know? And is there an easy fix, instead of the current fix which is to tape it in place!! :)

Well enough of the chit chat, here she is...

And a little video of her running :)
