My Bobber Project !!! Any Helpers

    Hi guys well it looks like i will attempt a bobber project on my America similar to what as be mentioned in other posts and threads i think the final look is very simple and not to difficult i really hope a few of you experienced guys would help me with input and ideas as i am very limited on knowledge of this type of thing so if any of you have done something like this before and are prepared to help it would be appreciated please be patient as some of my questions may be really stupid !!! so first question is were do i start what would i need to do first ???

    If I were you Drifter, I would want to build a picture in my mind of what I want to end up with, then work back from there.

    Google 'bobber' and look at what bits you like. Then copy and paste them into a A3 publisher document. Then when looking for, what your going for, you can instantly look at 12~15 bikes that make you drool. Then pick all the individual bits you like and go for a look you want. I was going to build a TW125 custom a few years ago, go started but never finished (usual time/money problem) but that's what I did and you get a picture in your mind of what you were going for.

    One of these days I'll get it built !!!! I was given the bike for free, so costs me nothing to have it sat in the garage.

    yup have a good look around and get inspiration and ideas from other bikes

    I just Googled Triumph America bobber and it bought up a few photo's.
    Looks like a good idea,let us know how you get on.
