Rideout Muster in Moffat, Saturday April 9th Attendance Thread

    My plan for the day is to meet in Moffat at the Buccleuch Arms Hotel approx. 10:30, turn up the wee lane at the side of the hotel (shown in picture below) to access the carpark / garden, have a meet, greet and a bit of banter.

    We will hang around from 10:30 - 11:30, have a brew (honesty pot in hotel) and banter / take piss / wait for stragglers. We will take pre-order for lunch at this time.

    11:30'ish - go for a ride around St Marys Loch - Talla - Megget and back to Moffat, approx. 44 miles and be back in Moffat for 1:00 ish

    1:15 'ish for lunch at Buccleuch Arms hotel, and depart as and when you wish.

    No idea how to cut and paste but we should be able to be there(do bikers need to know about cut and paste?)

    You'll never get your decorating done like that!! No mention of sanding down, undercoating, painting, filling those annoying cracks, choosing wallpaper etc etc etc! And no reference to whether or not you should paste the wall or the paper before hanging.o_O
    So many questions! So much confusion!:confused: No wonder my brain hurts!!:eek:

    Looks like we may get 4 turning up at Moffat,Moffat is about 30miles from us on an uphill slope snow is officially generated from the hills in the area so the meet WILL be cold/wet,POSSIBLY SUNNY--am I a fuckin pessimist MrOrange?

    Your so on the ball "stevethegoolie" decorating is a head wrecking experience I feel sorry for the decorators I get to do the shit stuff for me

    Guid stuff, look forward to meeting up.

    As a few have to travel in, I was thinking 10:30~11.30 as a meet up time.

    I would come over the bridge then A702 - A701, both decent roads, A701 is a belter.

    Cheers Ron i've been on the A702 before, i've been on the A701 but farther up, it's a bit confusing looking at a map it seems to turn into the A703 but it looks like you turn of the about Leadburn to rejoin it. so if i went the A702 would i join the A721 just past Dolphinton then join the A701 from there?

    Shame the date is so close to another bikers outing I've committed to with the Dutch Triumph Owners club (we're off to Germany - just down the road for us Cloggies). But if you organise another one I'd love to join.
