Fitted one today to my Newchurch. Huge improvement in appearance.
Viewed Delboys video before hand and quite straight forward.
The video showed a spacer being fitted between a different design of bracket to mine and the down tubes of the frame, mine was supplied with no spacer, I wonder if this is significant?
I am a little concerned that the wiring loom is pulled tight on full right hand lock.
All electrics are working fine but I will have this on my mind for the foreseeable, wondering whrther the block connector inside the headlight shell is chaffing other wiring, etc.
Has anyone experience of the bracket and any problems associated with it?
I posted on "what have you done with your Triumph" earlier but on reflection this is perhaps the most appropriate forum.

Hi CUrls, I fitted the motive bracket, no spacer either, cables all seem fine, I did move the ignition key at the same time which meant one of the connector blocks lives just on the outside edge of the headlamp now. I don't take the bonny out in n the rain so not a problem

Thanks for your input Carleton, I've just had it apart again and threaded the whole connector block outside of the headlight shell. ( I was considering modifying the bracket to raise the rectifier 1 inch and give a bit more loom )
I have tucked it up as high as I can behind the shell and have wrapped it carefully in electrical insulation tape.
There is no issue with stretching the loom anymore but the compromise is the block connector is now exposed to the elements, as we're off to Spain in July I expect it to get several soakings, I'll keep an eye on the job, that's all I can do!

Has it been worth it Curly ?
Seems like a lot of bother and a potential risk of water ingress.
It may be worth coating the electrics in RS electrical grease.

Someone on a previous thread had said that with fork gaiters fitted, the cosmetics were vastly improved regarding the rectifier.
I would agree, the horizontal gaiter folds are bridged by the rectifier horizontal fins and it 'blends' it aesthetically.

    Andy, thanks for your input.
I thought about the heat shrink tube late last night and have decided to search some out today, seems a better option than tape.
I have a can of acf50 and will coat it first.
Just about to start searching for heat shrink tube now!

A quick update, all insulating tape removed and block connector split, approx 8" section of 1.25" diameter bicycle inner tube cut out and gradually eased over half the block connector. A very tight fit, which is what I was looking for.
Connector pushed together and inner tube drawn over entire block with a good 2" either side.
Each end of the tube carefully gathered and rolled around the wiring loom and carefully taped up with insulating tape.
To finish things off and for extra peace of mind small cable ties fitted each side between the taped up ends and the bock connector.
It looks a very neat job, I am pleased with it, just hope it is weather resistant!

I think I'll leave mine where it is Curly, it looks okay to me with the fork gaiters on.
Sounds like you've made a good job of insulating it though.

Hi chaps im new on this forum so go easy on me ive just done this mod turned out ok basically similar way to most of the above suggestions grease up the multi plug left outside the headlamp and insulated with pvc tape im sure its not going to get that wet behind there hope not anyhow, so to get more slack in the rectifier loom ran that down the left side by the clutch cable uploaded a few shots next mod is move the ignition switch to the right side of the frame with a motone bracket,
