What a real gem it is. Got me dribbling with excitement. Tell us some more about it and the engineering that went into building.
    Regards
    Joe.

Joe. Basically the Harrier was a commission from Norman Hyde to. Harris Performance to build a frame very similar to the One used on tbe Rob North triples.
The main difference is comfort i think as this feels a bit more comfy thsn a North.
This bike has the same steering geomoetry as a n R1 yam, the yokes are one off items made by harris.
Tbe forks are of an Aprillia and tbe discs are gsxr1000 with pfm calipers. It stops on a sixpence. The hubs front are resr are one offs.
All the carbon fibre was hand laid by harris and looks superb close up.
Unfortunately i cannot take credit for any of the work it was done by a man called Nigel Waring.
Oh and the engine was built by Neil Beadling who is regarded as the go to person for meriden triple engines. It runs a Newby multi plate clutch with belt drive and semi close ratio 5 speed box.
It has a Trispark ignition and uses Dyna coils.
Since my ownership i have fitted lights to it . Led spots on the front and more recently an electric start as it can be a bugger to start and if it kicks back you know about it. It caught me last yesr and i had a bruise on my calf for two weeks, funnily enough i never tried to start it without a bike boot on after that Lol.
I had it on the dyno last year as it seemed to be overfuelling. It was doing 25mpg. I bought a set of leaner needles and shimmed them to get the AFR where i wanted it and i now get about 37mpg and that is round tbe lakes which has lots of twisties :D:D:D.
It truly is a mix of the old and the new and sounds glorious with the 3 into 1
I spoke with Nigel and he said he stopped counting tbe cost when tbe budget exceeded 25K.

Wow I didn't even know such a bike existed. It truly is adorable and absolutely fantastic. It must make you proud to own and ride such a Beauty. Thanks for showing it to us and filling in on the build. Boy I could look at that all day long. Even better maybe when all this nonsense is over and if I find myself going your way I might have the honour of seeing it in the flesh and if you are willing could have a listen to the beauty. Proudly envious in a Brotherly way..
    Regards
    Joe.

Yes I believe you have to put it on you tube then transfer it to the forum. Dozers Dad is the one for that. He explained it to me some time ago but gone from the head now.
    Regards
    Joe.

Drinking classes have been suspended recently due to unforeseen circumstances, but are now available again, albeit in a somewhat reduced form, at many inns, public houses and bars across the country. All you need to do is watch and learn:). Entry is free:cool: but the drinks have to be paid for:(. Practice makes perfect!!:grinning:

Lovely bike Feckless. That dyno sounded amazing:p. With the extra mpg, did you get smoother running, especially at idle or surging?
