On last run out bike lost power on nearside cylinder. Once home checked for spark OK but fitted new plugs any way, still the same. Removed and cleaned carbs, when all back together no change.
Removed carbs again this time I also removed the intake adaptors and insulators. Both o-ring
gaskets on the nearside were missing, and one on the offside was also missing. Fitted new ones
put it all back together and it now runs fine.
Any ideas or suggestions to whats happened here ? Bike is a 2007 T100 and done 17,000 miles.

Had it been serviced recently where these parts might have been removed?

Have run it many times since the service in hot, cold and wet weather. It was only on this last last run that the trouble started.

I think you will have to put this down to one of life's mysteries! Like when you put an engine back together and she runs perfectly even though you are left with a few of bolts etc in your hand!
