Lower Brake Hose

    Can someone tell me why t 140 lower brake hose has a longer and shorter threaded shaft and which one goes where?

    Does this help? You should have a link piece from calliper to fork bracket where the union is but it can depend on how the brake line is made up.

    Bang on. It goes through the bracket and bolts up.

    What year is that bike? I think mine 1976 will look just like that when I get it all together. My tank is just primed now but will be red or black. Thx again.

    I would say the one in the picture is a 74 / 75 model. But the Disc brake set up was the same.
