Hey folks. I bought a left over 2022 T120 Gold line edition this past April. I love the bike. It's one I've always wanted. However....that damned seat leaves a lot to be desired. I'm a big guy so when I'm on the bike I'm basically sitting right on the ridge between the front rider portion of the seat and the pillion section. Has anyone had the seat re-upholstered so it is completely flat from front to back?

As a 2017 T100 guy all I can say is a change to the ribbed comfort seat vs. the squishy stock seat made all the difference in the world. Better looking too, IMHO.

+1 to the above, the comfort seat is decent and doesn't have that ridge between rider and pillion. Not cheap though, but sometimes you see them on ebay, thats where I got mine.

Yeah, the stock seat is far too uncomfortable for me. I added the comfort seat as an option and I have to say it feels lovely on my posterior.

Only had the T120's as loan bikes and I would have to agree that I would struggle with the stock seat over any distance

I am also using the comfort seat on my T120. It's great!

It shouldn't be the case that the seat isn't comfortable straight out of the box, though. From memory I had to pay an extra £350+ to be able to use the bike, which is disgraceful given that they just needed to pad the standard seat properly, or pop a piece of gel inside.

I noticed that Triumph has what they're calling a 'bench' seat. Has anyone fitted that to their bikes? The comfort seat still looks like it has a raised section between the rider and the pillion which seems to be the cause of most of the discomfort for me. The regular seat kinda tilts me forward and puts pressure on the ol frank and beans....if you catch my drift....
